Hi All,
Sorry for the shortage of blog posts this month but I have been in Japan for a few weeks and came back to have to deal with family health issues in hospital here in Adelaide that have been consuming all my free time.
Indeed this evening is the first time I have turned on any computer in my house in over 3 weeks!
This is part 2 of my build of the recently released MorphOS 3.10 on my Powerbook G4 from scratch.
Part 1 is here if you haven't read it already - this part continues straight from Part 1 so I am assuming you read Part 1!
The next part of the build is getting AmiNetRadio setup. You can download it from Aminet.
With the recent release of MorphOS 3.10 last month, I decided to give it a go on my Apple Powerbook G4 17" laptop.
This time I decided to build my MorphOS system from scratch with a new install, and get to know MorphOS a bit better by building it up myself with what I actually want, rather than installing the separate Chrysalis Pack ISO that makes lots of changes to MorphOS and installs a lot of software I never use, without me understanding anything much about it.
Today I am looking at the newly released game Spencer by Entwickler-X for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my AmigaOne X1000!
This week saw the release of a new AmigaOS4 game Tower 57 by Benitosub (Amiga port by Daytona, AKA Daniel Müßener), which I backed via kickstarter, and now I can try out on my AmigaOne X1000!
Today I wanted to show an interesting LCD screen from Acer that is a current model, available brand new in 2017.
On Friday December 8th, 2017, we held the final Adelaide Retro Computing Group meeting in it's current form, with all three organisers (including myself) no longer running the events after this.
Hi All,
I am pleased to say that my study is finished for the year and exams done too as of today! This of course means that I can now return to my blog again!
