Very Nice A600 custom case

I spotted this one on Facebook.  Someone used a 3d Printer to make his own custom cover case for his A600, including a space for the PCMCIA card if one is there.  I don’t think he’s offering to make them for others but I thought it was very nice and deserved to be spotlighted to show what Amiga lovers can and will do for their machines.

More Amigadrama and weird domainregistrations

This weekend I noticed a post on Facebook in the “Commodore Amiga” group.

It was simply Amigapassion making a note that if you went to www.amigapassion.com   you was redirected to Amigakit webshop.

Now this is simply put very not ok.   As most of you might know. amigapassion (on real site: https://www.amigapassion.co.uk/ ) offers repairs of Amigacomputers.  so does amigakit.

MorphOS – New browser based on updated WebKit in the works

Looks like a new’ish browser (probably using OWB framework) with a much more recent WebKit is coming.  It’s detailed in this thread –> here<–

Probably still some weeks or so away from an alpha version and the author is admitting that webinspector and possibly YouTube media playback may not be supported.  That makes me sad, as YouTube support is important to me in a modern browser.

Games galore #5: R.E.R.O., Stalker, Dread, and the return of Mutation Software!

Still more 2019 games! And some 2020 gaming news, too! Yes, we're transitioning into 2020, but in many cases development dates back to 2019, or even further. Either way, more awesomeness here.

R.E.R.O. - Amiga H.E.R.O. remake

"R.E.R.O. - Rocket driven Emergency Rescue Operation" is a remake of cave exploration and rescue game "H.E.R.O. - Helicopter Emergency Rescue Operation", originally released in 1984 for Atari 2600 and ported to many 8-bit platforms.

Another update to the AMIGA alive Web Directory - 63 new links added, now 473 websites listed!

As always, if you're looking for something specific, make sure to check the "Misc / Mixed" section, as some websites cover multiple different subjects, e.g. software authors may have created very different applications.

Games galore #4: Jump!, Tiny Little Slug, Raid Over Moscow, Metro Siege, Recoil

We're about to catch up with 2019's game developments for the Amiga, with another set of exciting new productions.

Jump!

Announced around June 2019, "Jump!" is a conversion of AtariXE/XL game "Yoomp!". You control a ball bouncing through a tunnel made of panels, some of which can speed up your ball, or have other effects on the gameplay. It's a tactical arcade action game, similar to "Trailblazer" on the C64.

Games galore #3: Playable, finished, released, re-released, and awarded!

We're stretching 2019 into 2020, trying to keep up with current Amiga game developments. Lots of great stuff going on, and lots of actual releases.

Invyya playable demo

Horizontal SHMUP Inviyya is nearing completion - since we last reported about it, a playable demo has been released. There are still a few glitches, but it looks like this is gonna be a fun classic-style shooter.
