Building the ReAmiga from scratch. Part3

So lets add memory.  This is also a quite tricky part of the ReAmiga project as the distance between the chips is making it harder to handsolder.

This is how I am doing it:
First I tin all pads:

Add flux ontop of it and put a memorychip on U18 (thats the location of the top).

ReAmiga 1200 Erratapost

This is the Errata post of the ReAmiga project.

DO Check this post if you are doing soldering of ANY revision of the ReAmiga. as this page might change if stuff is found etc.

it works like this:  in the title I write what I fond as issues.  so if you have a Rev 1.0 board. you need to read the 1.0 header.  do those fixes. AND also add fixes for 1.1, 1.2 etc..  (unless mentioned in the text)

ReAmiga Rev 1.0 TESTVERSION (note this is the TESTVERSION it have this also printed on the PCB! to NOT mix with the released Rev 1.0)

Sigh.. Phase5 .. AGAIN

Well I know I told I would not write more about Phase5..

Just a quick update.

Salvador. the “owner” that also have been banned from Facebook. (both personally and companypage)

he have done (C) strikes about me on FB from fake accounts and Youtube.  I have reported those claims as fake. but it is hard to talk to something else than BOTs..

So videos of me sanding the bppc PCB showing it is lacking connected ground etc is removed.

HOWEVER!  they are all saved:  so links to them from my local own server:

Reverse engineering of the Blizzard 1260 PCB

Well. We all know about the “new” Phase5.. he sold me 2 of the Blizzard PPC2 PCBs that I found out was faulty.. no ground connected. and he refused to refund or send new working pcbs.

And at Amiga32 he showed the Blizzard 1260 PCBs. saying that they would go to production any day.

now still one year after.. no production. so this summer I started to actually do a reverse engineer of it, just like I done with the A3640 and Amiga 1200..

Building the ReAmiga 1200 from the ground and up! Part1

I decided to do a writeup of my build of my personal ReAmiga 1200 using NOS parts.

my plan was first to tell exactlty where all signals get up etc. but unfortunally this would simply take so extremly much time so I do more like “function by function” instead.

First, I decided that I wanted to go all BLACK!

Moving components from a dead A1200 to an ReAmiga 1200

This is a small writeup how to move components from an dead Amiga 1200 to a ReAmiga board. (and basically the same as how to build one)

First of all I want to excuse the BAD soldering on the pictures here as I was out of solderwire and all I was able to get was leadfree crap.
and DAMN it is CRAP so solderjoints looks like I am drunk when soldering.

Remember this is NOT a SMD Soldering tutorial.
