sf.net records some statistics, interesting is the Operating-System chart:
Even if it still far away from a feature-complete and rock-solid release, it might be time to release a snapshot of the current state of development.

I have been away for over a month meeting my inlaws in Japan. Even though I did bring my Powerbook with me I ended up having very little time playing with MorphOS. But I did get the opportunity to visit a Commodore Fan Club meeting in Okubo (Tokyo) the 20th of September.
So, currently, we have ACube’s SAM460cr and A-Eon’s x1000 Nemo board that came be purchased today. We’ve heard that the x5000 from A-Eon is on the way as soon as Amiga OS4.2 is fully ported, and Individual Computers will be releasing an Amiga 1200-ish replacement motherboard.

Last night (September 29) a close friend of mine, Mark Thompson passed away. He is known in the Amiga scene by his demo scene handle Axon of The Experience, a Classic Amiga demo group I formed in the late 1990's in Adelaide during our university days. We wrote 2 AGA demos and Mark wrote another separate intro in Assembler for Amiga 1200/030 systems.
