680x0 development enviroment on AmigaOS4.1?
Yesterday I was wondering was, is it possible to setup a 680x0 development enviroment on AmigaOS4.1, whit out depending on UAE.
And the answer is yes.

I'm writing this blog to the sound of the annual Christmas pop song medley playing on the radio and with shops and cafes adorned with images of robins, Santa Claus, reindeer and snow.
2012 on the X1000 - A Look Back
Given that it is almost the end of the year, I thought it would be good to look back over the year 2012 and significant releases for AmigaOne X1000 and it operating system AmigaOS4 during that time.
I do know (and acknowledge) that there has been plenty of activity around MorphOS, AROS and Classic AmigaOS3.x platforms too in 2012 (I run all three of these platforms as well), but these are not the focus of this AmigaOne X1000 blog as it runs AmigaOS4. It would be interesting to compare MorphOS 3.1 and AmigaOS 4.1.6 performance on the same X1000 hardware, but that's another story!
SSDR on X1000
I decided to try out a recently released tool called Screen Switching Done Right (SSDR) on my X1000!
Santa is working super hard to make it to christmas.
Bringing the Christmas felling to the Amiga desktop, Excalibur now running on my X1000, I might write some words about it.
Mini Game Review - 7 Boings on X1000
Today I am looking at a game called 7 Boings on my X1000, released this year by Mrdarek and available for download on os4depot.net.
Status report
With the bounty in place, my aim was to update the blog more often -- preferably when I had some sort of update. However, my time has been lacking the last few weeks, and I haven't made as much progress as I wanted. But the bounty has surely made me more motivated -- your donations are much appreciated. In order to get some well needed progress, I've earmarked two "mellandagar" (i.e. the days between christmas and new year) to fully focus on Jamiga. I'm hoping nothing will interfere with these plans.
Game Mini-Review - Equilibrio on X1000
This week saw the release of a new game for AmigaOS4 called Equilibrio. It is available from download on www.amigasoft.net and is written by DK Games. It was originally released as a game for the Nintendo Wii. I had never heard of the game before, so I was keen to try it out on my X1000.
AmigaOS4.1 Update 6 Install for X1000
Overnight (30/11/2012) saw the release of AmigaOS4.1 Update 6 for the AmigaOne X1000 and other AmigaOS4.1 based hardware. Today I wanted to cover the installation process and changes in Update 6 focussing on AmiUpdate!
