Many people in the Amiga community have been eagerly anticipating the release of the E-UAE PowerPC JIT project. A bounty has been running on Amigabounty.net since 2009 and now the first release after the BETA-stage is here. :) I presume there are plenty of happy faces around the world because of this, myself included.

I’ve donated a few times to this project in the past to help MorphOS and AmigaOS get a fast and efficient UAE build. It’s great to see that the author managed this huge task. A big congratulations must go out to him (Rachy)! :) It’ll be interesting to see the speed difference in emulation! I’m going to try it on my MorphOS laptop with G4 CPU.
