Good morning everyone,

Today I noticed that Amigastore.eu has announced a laser upgrade for your old Amiga mouse! I read this on a thread at amiga.org and quickly checked it out. Here’s some more information directly from Amigastore.eu:

This board replaces the old ball mechanism of your clasic Amiga mouse by the ultimate laser technology. Based in the ADNS-9800 laser sensor, which is used in some high end devices for gamers and designers, this replacement board offers 8500 DPI and a better perfomance in surfaces that optical mouses.

Hope some of you found this interesting. It’s a cool idea for sure. <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> I use an old PC mouse on my Amiga 1200 with the Micromys mouse adapter which I bought many years ago. Still works like a charm. <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />
