Well, that was a long pause! Almost 5 years since I’ve said anything about the Amiga community. Well, in that time, I’ve purchased a PowerMac G5 1.6Ghz machine and have been happily running MorphOS3.18 on it. I just found out that 3.19 was release with a load of changes: –> here <– Which I hope to install soon.

I did find out some information about compiling debian linux kernels that support KVM CPU virtualization for G4 (maybe even G3) and G5, which I hope to dig up again and share soon. It was a year ago.

WayFarer browser is still magnificent. OWB for AROS was updated to use a core webkit from 2019. 6 Years behind standards but still a good move in the right direction.

Qemu for emulating Pegasos and now some people using GPU passthrough to use Radeon GPUs directly from within Qemu to accelerate gfx performance on emulated Amiga OS4.1fe, and even Amiga 3.2.2.1 classic updated.
