Amiga 1200 new case build
For my final blog post of 2019 I am taking a look at rebuilding my A1200 into the new Amiga 1200 case by A1200.net.
For my final blog post of 2019 I am taking a look at rebuilding my A1200 into the new Amiga 1200 case by A1200.net.
Having spent a lot of time this year doing Classic Amiga projects, I decided to do something a little different for my next Amiga project!
I decided to try out the Amiberry v3 Amiga emulation distribution for cheap Arm based systems like the Raspberry Pi 4 ($59), and the recently released $199 Pinebook Pro laptop.
Following on from my build of the Amiga 500 into the Checkmate 1500 Plus case, I have now added a new RapidRoad/X-Surf 100 card, and also found a fix (and some needed bits and bobs) to allow me to install the Vampire 500v2 too!
Today I want to cover an Amiga project I have been working on all this month. I picked up a new Checkmate A1500 Plus case from iMica Ltd, with the extra bits needed to mount an Amiga 500 in it!
So I will take a look at the build process and what I found out along the way, which will hopefully help others as they build systems into this very interesting new case!
This blog post is a short one, but I wanted to quickly cover off an annoyance on my AmigaOne X5000 and how I fixed it this week. Specifically I am talking about the non-working USB3 ports on the top of the case it came in...
In this blog entry I will continue my new Amiga 3000 build. Please review Part 1 of the build so you know what has been done so far before diving in here, as I am just continuing straight on for this Part 2.
Recently I finally managed to secure my own Amiga 3000! I really wanted to get one of these for a long time now.
This weekend I took a look at the Amiga 500 and Amiga 600 memory expansion cards and A1200 real time clock port expansion module, all kindly supplied to me for review by AmigaKit.
Today I am taking a look at the recently released ADF handling software for Classic Amiga called GoADF from BitPlan, on my Amiga 500 running AmigaOS 3.1.4.1 and also on my Amiga 4000T running AmiKit Real 9 (OS3.9 base).
