Another step into the cloud for Amiga
A while ago, the Amiga gained the ability to access Google Drive and Dropbox as DOS Handlers from the command line or Dopus. See the links here:

I’ve read a couple of interesting articles about how the Amiga system is being re-implemented in Javascript so that it will continue to survive in the future world of cloud computing where microservices are all the rage and the choice of OS is arbitrary. I think the guys are onto something.

A new 68040 Accelerator for the Amiga 500
So, the guy that has been Vlogging on YouTube about his open-source 68030 accelerator every week or so just announced his plans to make a 68040 version for the Amiga 500. Wow!
Found an old picture of “OS5” development system
Back in 1998, Amiga Inc was in talks with QNX to use their desktop system as a potential base for the nextgen Amiga. Their web archive page also teased a new system for developers of OS5dev:

The first Amiga NextGen OS to support 64bit native architecture and multi-cores: AROS
Well, if there was a race to see which of the Amiga-flavors of OS would support both SMP (multiple processor cores) and 64bit architecture, along with the extra RAM afforded by 64bit addressing, it was won by AROS. Check out the video below:
