My AmigaOne X5000 has arrived!
I am very excited to say that I finally saved up the money to get a AmigaOne X5000, and it arrived in the post this past week from AmigaKit in the UK. To say I am very excited to receive it is an understatement.

This is a small writeup how to move components from an dead Amiga 1200 to a ReAmiga board. (and basically the same as how to build one)
First of all I want to excuse the BAD soldering on the pictures here as I was out of solderwire and all I was able to get was leadfree crap.
and DAMN it is CRAP so solderjoints looks like I am drunk when soldering.
Remember this is NOT a SMD Soldering tutorial.
Even more pure awesomeness. The Amiga community is without a doubt the most active and knowledgeable in the retro scene.
We've already reported about this project - and, yeah, it's done, thanks to Paul and the community!
The GoFundMe campaign has reached and even exceeded the amount of money required, and Paul Rezendes was pretty quick at getting the first boards produced and tested. By now the files created have been released to the public, and you can even order a board from Paul.
This week I received a new boxed Amiga game in the post called Zerosphere, released by Poly Play.
It sounds too good to be true, but in these cases it isn't a hoax. There is a lot, and may I repeat, A LOT going on in Amiga hardware world... In fact it's so much I've split this into two parts.
On April 24th 2018, 7-bit Retro Electronics announced a new product: The "SPI MasterBus CP" controller for the clockport.
I delivered a presentation at Hackers On Planet Earth in July 2018 in New York City.
For a few different reasons, that presentation was cut short. I decided to rerecord the delivery of the presentation and make it available on my site. I have new found respect for people who make these videos. There’s multiple layers involved to get everything just right. I’m not sure I met that bar, but without further ado
Aminet can be a right treasure trove full or obscure and not so well-known pieces of software for the Amiga. For those unfamiliar with the Amiga scene in general, Aminet […]
Today I have been given a sneak preview of the latest Enhancer v1.4 software release for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my AmigaOne X1000! This package is made by A-EON and available for purchase in a couple of different editions on AMIStore, or directly from the AmigaKit website as a physical product with CD.
As readers will know, I bought a replacement Amiga 500 recently, and have started migrating my upgrades from the non-working A500 to the "new" one.
Today I thought I would take a look at Amstrad CPC emulation on a Next Generation Amiga through Arnold which can be run on AmigaOS 4 and ACE which can […]

One slow day (12th of june 2018) being on a hotel doing work for one week I asked on facebook on the “Commodore Amiga” group:
”Reversetime. What pcb do you think I should reverse? Come with ideas. A board often damaged by battery or caps. Preferbly smaller ones. So give me hints of.. “whats next”
I got several ideas. CV64, CD32 etc. then I got the. ”Amiga 1200 I have a empty PCB”
