As many Amiga users know, After OS 3.9 was released around 2000, we were treated with two updates to it, Boing Bag #1 and Boing Bag #2.
While the community and other developers continued updating individual packages, drivers, libraries, etc, you had to piecemeal these together on your own.

After a long break (and a long silence here), I returned to my WinUAE port. It still had no Picasso96 support, something which annoyed me a long time now. Problem was, that even everything looked ok (to me), as soon as the uaegfx monitor was added, it crashed. As both uaegfx and rtg.library are closed source, debugging it was a nice lesson, but lead to no results.
So I compared all uae generated 68k library and modeinfo structs with the fs-uae structs and (for me) everything looked ok.
This morning, Mr delivery man delivered not one item, but two items of Amiga goodies for me to unwrap and play around with.
The first item to pop through my letter box was the latest bi-monthly issue of Amiga Future which for those who do not know is now the only full-time published Amiga magazine published both in English and German. It is also the oldest Amiga magazine in publication and has been going now for close to 20 years.

One of my pet annoyances on the Apple Mac is the autocreation of thousands of ._blah index files for every file on your hard disk, cached by MacOS X.
How does this relate to my X1000? Well, when I copy my music and photos across from the Mac to the X1000 I end up with these really annoying files on my hard disk, which are not visible on a Mac but very visible on anything else.
