Saturday the 19th september I travelled to Uppsala, on Software Freedom Day, where Uppsala Linux User Group had an event. I was invited to talk about Jamiga: Java on Amiga.

Part 1 – The Ascent from Assembler to C

Last night (September 29) a close friend of mine, Mark Thompson passed away. He is known in the Amiga scene by his demo scene handle Axon of The Experience, a Classic Amiga demo group I formed in the late 1990's in Adelaide during our university days. We wrote 2 AGA demos and Mark wrote another separate intro in Assembler for Amiga 1200/030 systems.

Today I wanted to take a look at Hollywood 6.0 on AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my X1000, which was released in 2015. I will also take a look at the updated Hollywood Plugin for Cubic IDE and a quick look at FastView as well!

It's the start of a brand new week, and details of a new Amiga game have just surfaced.

So after looking at the high priced real HP logic analyzer cart that didn’t look that great to me, I decided to build my own incorporating a ton of features that just really makes my life easier. This is optimized for use over cost.

Today I am taking a look at the recently released game called AmiCraft (in Beta 3 form) for AmigaOS 4.1 on my X1000.

Things have been pretty quiet in the Amiga games scene over the past few weeks, but thankfully I now have something to report!
