Today I wanted to take a look at the recently released Dir Me Up 3.02 for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my AmigaOne X1000.
I’ve not posted in a while but I did see this interesting project that combined the hardware for a MorphOS machine (I have the feeling it is one of the bPlan Efika boards, but it may be an apple product, combined with a minimig.
The builder has worked some software and hardware switching to cause a game floppy icon clicked to open on the minimig and switch the video over. The controller signalling is shared somehow as well. Very interesting project. I hope he explains more soon.

Recently I have been testing the final Release Candidate version of Enhancer Software V1.1 from A-Eon, the first major update to the Enhancer Software bundle since it was released earlier this year for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on AMIStore and physical CD purchase from AmigaKit and other dealers.
I have been testing the latest update on the AmigaOne X1000 and Sam460CR. This post covers the X1000 installation.
The AmigaOS Fast File System (FFS) was created back in 1988 and, believe it or not, is still in use today by some die hard enthusiasts who insist it is still pretty good. FFS has several modes which has enabled it to survive far past its expiry date. Two of those modes have never been described before.

Hi everyone,
Just read the latest post by Trevor Dickinson (owner of A-EON Technologies) on his blog. There he linked to a film of him using the AmigaOne X5000 with various games and utilities. Since many people are wondering about the current status of AmigaOS 4 in relation to both the X5000 and the Tabor, both upcoming systems from A-EON, I thought I’d share it here.
The August 2016 meeting of the Adelaide Retro Computing Group had a theme of "Bring your favourite Retro System" and our biggest attendance so far turned up to show off their favourites!
Having more fun in SketchBlock :)

Well next card in my “060 Upgrade” walk-through is the Blizzard 2040.
This is the the board before doing any work on it. (I have added 32MB of RAM to be able to test it)
