Hi everyone,
A new tool that makes reading comics a breeze has been released for AmigaOS 4.1. The author is George Sokianos.
Here’s the information that was posted on Amiga.org:
So, I saw this video from a link about the latest version of Netsurf 3.6 (the 68k SDL version found –> here <–). I’m a fan of this browser and encourage everyone with a classic machine to try it out.
The test video shows the author using this on an Amiga 500 that has the Vampire 2 accelerator and a plipbox (ethernet over parallel port).
Hyperion announced yesterday that you can now purchase an official copy of Workbench 3.1 and Kickstart 3.1 without going through Cloanto (or less legal methods). And the most amazing part of this is that there ware updates, although minor.
Compared to the Boing Bag expansions for 3.9 that have been continued by Amiga Projects (–> here <–), it seems like not much of an update. The BetterWB is also a 3.1 update that is a great update too.
Today is the first part of my Amiga 1200 upgrade. As you may remember, earlier this week I took delivery of a recapped Amiga 1200, with the promise of more to come on the weekend. Well the weekend is now here so let's get started!
After promising myself I would never buy another Amiga 1200 after having so many issues with them over the years, I weakened when this fully recapped one came to my attention recently. I was able to buy it for a fair price and it has arrived today!
Good vertical/top view shooters are many, way too many to mention and i am sure i will trigger some emotions when i say that my favorites of all time was mostly from the late 80’s era. 1942 , Raiden,Twin Cobra, Banshee and Flying shark being the ones i like the most and to me they all count as both fantastic games and some very good childhood memories. Sky Force Anniversary is the new king...
It's probably time to give a quick tease of one of my own personal Amiga AGA projects.
"ProXima 3 - Red Dwarf Star" is a Vertical scrolling Shoot Em Up.
The environment is partly destructible as well as the bigger enemies, each enemy has a flash/hit state.
