HalfBright Fish - AMIGA - Brilliance II
Hi Everyone,
For the second year running we have an Amiga Art Competition and this is my second entry using Brilliance II on the Amiga 1200.
Hi Everyone,
For the second year running we have an Amiga Art Competition and this is my second entry using Brilliance II on the Amiga 1200.
One of the Amiga games that stuck in my imagination forever despite dating back 35 years ago is The Pawn. This game, initially a text-only adventure developed and published for the Sinclair QL in 1985, was written by Rob Steggles at Magnetic Scrolls and soon became a hit due to its peculiar nature of making […]
This is a guide how to build the Amiga 2000 Replica.
(not not real “ReAmiga” even if some says so…)
Locator available at: http://locator.reamiga.info/locator.php?project=A2000
Projectpage: https://github.com/Floppie209/Amiga2000-remake (NOPE this is not mine as it is not my project!)
OK.
Now we have a fully working ReAmiga 3000 except the Flickerfixerpart. This I wanted to take as a separate part.
I can point you to a very good guide here: https://www.tsb.space/knowledge-base/a3000-flicker-fixer-repair-and-adjustment/
Browsing through old diskmags always makes me notice how much Amiga-related writing I did in the 1990s. But of course: the Amiga was my computer of choice back then, I used it throughout the decade as my main productivity tool. I used the Digita Wordworth for all my written coursework, including the master’s thesis; I composed several dozen tunes for demoscene productions in Protracker; I took my first programming steps in GFA Basic and, later, Storm C… So there was a lot to write about, and writing about it was great fun.
It is good to be back talking about NextGen Amiga updates again in 2020. Today I am taking a look at very exciting web browser update for MorphOS called Wayfarer version 1.1, promising modern web browser functionality using the latest Webkit version. It needs the recently released MorphOS 3.14 installed on my AmigaOne X5000 first, so let's dive in!
My "Frankenstein" Apollo 1240 accelerator needed some decent cooling, so I built something.
Chicken, monkeys, rocks, and shadows - pick your favourite, and have a good time playing an Amiga game!
Sorry for the delay in blog posts, but today I try to make up for it as I bring you a tale of two Vampires, featuring AmiKit XE. And even a bit of Gotek to boot. This work was carried out throughout the whole of August.

I recently had a need to provide a battery backup solution for a CPAP machine. A CPAP machine helps people, who suffer from sleep apnea, get a good night’s rest. About 20 million Americans suffer from this condition. This machine provides a large amount of heated, humidified air through a mask. Motors (like those driving a large air pump), and heaters (heating the water to prevent drying out membranes) take a lot of power. The CPAP machine consumes 35w nominally, and 90w peak.
